About myself
I've been working for the Novohrad-Nógrád Geopark for a year. It is located in the northern part of Hungary and southern part of Slovakia also the member of European Geopark Network. Furthermore, it is the first cross-bordered geopark in the Global Geopark Network which works under the aegis of the UNESCO. In the mean of the geopark programme, it protects geological, archeologycal, historycal, ecologycal and cultural values in it's region in order to be able to develop geoturism and presenting and giving these values to the next generations. Therefore, it's area is highly protected, which contains many significance outstanding valueable and rare geosites like the Basalth Squares of Somoskő, the World Heritage site, Hollókő, Fossils of Ipolytarnóc and the Andesite Slope of Bér.
